HERE, A WORKER WAS KILLED IN AN EXPLOSION IN 2015 AND TWO WORKERS WERE INJURED: A huge fire swept through the Valjevo factory, flames engulfed the production rooms!

Firefighters continue to fight to contain it, while a large amount of smoke covers the surroundings.

Thirty firefighters from the Valjevo Fire and Rescue Company are involved in fighting the fire with eight fire trucks. According to the first information from the camp, the fire was large, the fire engulfed several production halls and the firefighters and vehicles of the Valjevo “Krušik”, as well as the vehicles of the Vidrak and Vodovod utilities, came to the rescue.

We remind you that at the beginning of January 2015, in the company “Samedi”, three workers were injured in the explosion of a steam boiler with a force of several thousand calories, which heats two rooms in which chairs are produced. Due to the force of the explosion, a part of the wall in one of the corridors collapsed, which fell on three workers who were in the next room. A SR worker (26) from the village of Popucka, who was most seriously injured in the explosion of the boiler to heat the production hall of that factory, died a few days later at the Clinical Center in Belgrade.

Until seven years ago, the “Samedija” production plant was located in the center of the city, after which all production was moved to the Gorić Industrial Zone, in a room of about 11,000 square meters.
