BELGRADE – Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić personally welcomed a plane that landed from the United Arab Emirates at Batajnica Airport today.
The plane is full of help and is a personal gesture of friendship between Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed and the Emirate towards Serbia, Vučić emphasized, adding:
– The plane is full of help for the fight against the corona – respirators, scanners, spacesuits – said Vučić, emphasizing that with what is in the plane, an entire kovid hospital can be filled and equipped!
Namely, the plane with medical equipment, which the UAE sent as a donation to Serbia, landed in Belgrade today around 1:30 pm and was received by President Aleksandar Vučić at the Batajnica military airport. They are in teams worth several million euros respirators, scanners, MRI machines.
The UAE also sent a plane on March 29 with the first part of the aid with means of protection for the fight against the coronavirus.
At that time, 10 tons of aid arrived from the UAE: 13,750 protective suits and 15,000 hospital suits, 500,000 gloves, 30,000 protective products for footwear, 20,000 masks, 6,000 paramedics.
