ZAGREB, October 3 (Tanjug) – Zagreb was hit by a heavy storm tonight, and with heavy rain and thunder, the city also fell.
According to the recordings of Jutarnji list readers, some streets in the city are flooded and traffic is difficult.
The storm also hit the Adriatic. The European Center for Forecasting the Occurrence and Intensity of Storms Estofex has put the area along the Adriatic in the second level for today and tonight. That means locally more abundant precipitation, possible torrential floods, leeches in the sea, hail, gusts of hurricane wind, Jutarnji writes.
Rain will continue to fall until Sunday morning, when there will be thunder showers in most parts, and in some places a stormy wind with the possibility of hail. Leeches may appear in the Adriatic.
Storms in BiH: Trees uprooted by the wind in Bihac
A storm followed by a strong wind at night hit the Una-Sana Canton area, as a result of which material damage was recorded in several places.
As announced by meteorologists after the south of the whole day in the afternoon and overnight, the area of Bosnia and Herzegovina will be hit by a storm followed by strong winds and rain, writes the Kliks portal.
The first city in Bosnia and Herzegovina to be hit by a strong wind was Bihać, where several trees fell tonight due to a strong wind in an alley in the city center and, as readers of the portal report, the intensity and the force of the wind has not stopped for several hours.
Due to the fallen trees, traffic in the center of Bihać was suspended until members of the Cleaning Service removed the fallen trees from the road.
In the next few hours, strong winds are expected in other cities in Bosnia and Herzegovina and, as Kliks has just warned, minor material damage is possible due to the gust of wind.
