The Republic Hydrometeorological Institute (RHMZ) has issued a warning that heavy snow will fall in Serbia today.
In mountainous areas, the height of the snow cover is expected to increase by 20 to 40 centimeters, especially in southwestern Serbia, as well as in the east, in the Homolje area.
In the lower regions, a further increase in snow height of 10 to 25 centimeters is expected, locally and more, except in Vojvodina, where five to 10 centimeters of snow are expected, and the extreme south of Serbia, where the rain will fall along with the snow and will freeze locally. on the floor.
Precipitation is expected to decrease this morning and in the middle of the day, it is written at the end of the warning.
RHMZ expects cold and cloudy weather in Serbia today. Winds from the east and northeast will be light to moderate. The lowest temperature will be minus two degrees to zero and the highest minus one to three degrees.
