After one of the programmers asked to be tried in the United States, who demanded the extradition of all on suspicion of deceiving American citizens and thus earning $ 70 million, the Supreme Court has now found that there are legal preconditions to extradite all suspects.

Decision establishing that the legal requirements for extradition to the United States of America KK, KFAK, MP, US, NK, AS, MM, ND, BR, NM have been met for proceedings before the United States District Court in the Northern District of Texas, in criminal matters. no case. 3:20 –CR-0120-B United States v. CC et al. For conspiracy to commit fraud involving electronic communications in violation of Chapter 18 of the United States Penal Code under Articles 1349 and 1343 counts 1 and for conspiracy to launder money in violation of Chapter 18 of the Penal Code of the United States Code. U.S. Section 1956 (x) Section 2 – stated in advertisement.

They assert that the extradition request submitted by the United States Ministry of Justice was submitted in full compliance with the Law on International Legal Assistance in Criminal Matters and the Extradition Agreement between the Republic of Serbia and the United States.

Lawyer Milan Petrović, who represents the two suspects, says that they have not yet received a decision, but that the court’s announcement is very short, flat and that there is no explanation.

– We will certainly use the right to appeal to the Court of Appeals, which is a body that will have to re-review all documents and facts and decide whether or not all the conditions for their extradition have actually been met. The decision of the Court of Appeals is followed by the final decision of the Minister of Justice, who is the last in a row who can decide on extradition, says Petrovic.

It explains that this decision does not change the “status” of the defendants with regard to their arrest, and that the pregnant woman remains under house arrest.

Let us remember that a group of young men and a pregnant woman, including citizens of Montenegro, the Philippines and Austria, all residing in Nis, were arrested at the end of July.

They are charged with the criminal offense of fraud, which, it is suspected, raised 70 million dollars through the Internet. A Texas citizen was among those duped, so the American judiciary and the FBI intervened throughout the case, assisting in the arrest operation.

The detainees are now threatened with extradition to the United States, where the entire process would take place, and according to the lawyers, their human rights would be in danger in America, and that is why the request is that they be tried in Serbia.
