Nikola M., 16, from the village of Beranje, near Požarevac, died from injuries sustained in a car accident in his village, when he was hit by a Jaguar driven by SM (43) from Sirakovo while riding a motorcycle .
According to information from “Blic”, the teenager was driving his “Yamaha” and collided with a “Jaguar” on his motorcycle in a slight curve. Apparently, the driver of the “Jaguar” was busy with his mobile phone, either sending a message or speaking, lost control and crossed into the opposite lane. The young motorcyclist, who had a helmet on his head, fell off the motorcycle, and the fact that he “flew” a few meters attests to how violent the blow was.
The minor suffered head injuries and was immediately transferred to Belgrade, but died shortly after admission and the driver of the “Jaguar” was arrested.
– Tragedy. Little Nikola was a good and reliable motorcyclist, he never went crazy. He drove for two, three years. Always according to the rules: helmet on the head, adequate speed, they say in the village of Beranje de Nikola.
Immediately after learning that Nikola was seriously injured, the teenager’s father and grandmother, who work in Austria, set out for Beranje.
– They only hear crying at home. Nikola was truly a wonderful child. Recently, on August 3, he celebrated his 16th birthday, our interlocutors added.
Nikola lived in the village with his grandfather Predrag and his great-grandmother, because his parents are in Austria.
– He was very attached to his grandfather, who constantly took him hunting. His parents married him young, they gave birth to him and two daughters. Nikola is the youngest. The parents got divorced. They are both in Austria and Nikola’s father has remarried, say the locals of this town in Požarevac.
The boy grew up in Austria and returned to Serbia last summer.
– I did not want to go there for a trade, but here – say the injured teenager’s acquaintances and add that “Nikola had many plans and that he was prevented from carrying them out by attacking the older driver.”
