Images of a brutal attack by a thug on a woman in front of a store in New Belgrade shocked Serbia, and even more shocking is what preceded the incident.
Security camera footage shows a man hitting AM in the face with his head, and while the knocked out woman is lying down, the attacker continues to insult and threaten her.
AM was not attacked or guilty or guilty. In fact, she only wanted to help and received serious bodily injuries.
It all started when AM noticed an unaccompanied child crying in the parking lot. When asked where his parents were, he received the answer that they are in the store, “Kurir” reports. The woman, who wanted to help the boy, went to the store with him to look for his parents, but the security worker did not allow her and eventually knocked him out. It happened on September 24 at 7:20 p.m.
The police quickly arrested the perpetrator, but the prosecution did not order his arrest, but he was released with a misdemeanor fine of 15,000 dinars.
Why is the bully on the loose?
The prosecution claims that the injured party did not immediately provide the list of injuries, so it could not be determined if and what type of injuries.
– If minor bodily injuries were inflicted without tools, means or weapons, the prosecution starts on the basis of a private claim. As the police received an injury report from the injured party three days after the fact report, it was only then that it was established that it was a serious bodily injury, which was forwarded to the Prosecutor’s Office and a criminal complaint was ordered – says the Prosecutor’s Office .
