This morning, the Leskovac Basic Prosecutor’s Office ordered the arrest of SS (33) from Vlasotince.
He allegedly lost control of the vehicle on Saturday 19 September 2020, while driving a “Grand Cherokee” jeep on the Gadžin Han-Leskovac road, and for the unknown reason he landed off the road, leaving his co-driver JS (39). from Dubrava, near Vlasotince, and suffered serious and life-threatening injuries.
Following the accident, the suspect allegedly drove the injured man onto the road where he stopped the first vehicle he came across and used it to transport the injured man to Leskovac hospital, where he told medical staff that the injured man fell off the terrace.
According to unofficial reports, after that, he called two others and accompanied them to the crash site, where they removed the vehicle, took it to the town of Orašje and removed the license plates.
The wounded man died yesterday in KC Nis. It was ordered to identify the people who helped the suspect to remove the vehicle from the place and to initiate a process against him for the crime of assisting the author after the commission of the crime provided for in art. 333. CC.
