A.Ć (15) from Niš passed away in the night between Friday and Saturday around 1.30 am in unusual circumstances.
– Based on the witness’s testimony, the fact that the boy fled convinced that he was being pursued by a man with a knife in his hand was confirmed. It is true that no visible wounds were found on the boy’s body and the result of the autopsy is awaited, which is believed that the boy probably had a heart attack. It remains to be seen whether there is fatigue during the escape or too much fear, says a source close to the investigation.
The tragedy, according to the confirmation of the investigating authorities, occurred around 1.30 after midnight at the corner of Kosta Stamenkovića and Vojislava Ilića streets when A. Ć. He came back from the Nis Park Chair with a friend from elementary school and another. They were walking towards the center of the city when, near the crossing, they came across a man who stopped there and ate something.
– As we passed, my friend brushed the flagpole and cursed, then the man who was there reacted and went towards him. Suddenly, a man pulled something out of his hand. My friend exclaimed, “Run, it’s not a truncheon, it’s a knife!” So the three of us headed down the street toward Marger. However, he fell around the corner. The calls for help woke up the residents of the surrounding buildings, causing several of them to gather around the boy’s body. The ambulance arrived in less than five minutes and the doctor tried to resuscitate the teenager on the spot, and then he was quickly transferred to the Children’s Clinic of the Clinical Center in Nis by ambulance. There the resuscitation continued, but there was no rescue.

I froze that something hadn’t happened to her and they consoled me and said that everything was fine with her, but that they had come for her friend, so I gave them instructions to look for her granddaughter at her mother’s house – said Grandma Zorka.
