Branislava F. (42) from Žabari was arrested on suspicion of stabbing her unmarried husband Nenad M. (32). Although seriously injured, Nenad convinced the police that he had injured himself, although it was obvious that she had attacked him. As we found out unofficially, the incident between the spouses broke out on Sunday afternoon after they had been drinking together all day.
Fight and fight
– Branislava and Nenad drank a little more that day, so the harmless fight turned into a serious fight and fight, during which she took a kitchen knife and stabbed her husband in the thigh. The man panicked and ran away from home, and seeing that he was bleeding a lot, he called the ambulance and the police, but could not explain what happened – says our source of the investigation: – Although at first it was thought that he was stabbed in the chest, it turned out that he has a leg injury. Nenad was transferred to the Požarevac General Hospital, where his injury was repaired, but it was suggested that he continue his treatment at another institution in Belgrade. However, Nenad later changed his story and was released from the hospital at his request.

The Basic Public Ministry ordered the arrest of Branislava F., who will be tried today. “Considering that Nenad M. has minor injuries, he is accused of domestic violence,” said a source in Kurir.
He supposedly realized that he had gotten his wife in trouble, so he decided to try to save her. – He told police that his wife did not stab him at all, but that he injured himself with a knife and then fell. He said that they had been together for a long time, as well as that he had come to her home in Žabare from Velika Plana and that she would never do him any harm. He literally convinced the authorities that he forgave her, explains our interlocutor from the investigation. The couple’s neighbors had no words of praise for the detained woman. – Her first husband supposedly passed away, so she inherited the house. That unfortunate Nenad is constantly harassed and tormented, he causes trouble. As the children said, who were playing in the street and saw everything, she stabbed her husband in the room next to the street, and then with a bloody knife she sat on a plastic chair on the terrace, the neighbors say:

– The children said that the police came and talked to her, persuaded her to throw away the knife and that they were there to protect her, and then several more patrolmen arrived, then they grabbed her and took her away – added the neighbor. Recall, a similar case occurred at the end of July, when Marijana S. (18) from Kovilj was arrested on suspicion that after an argument she stabbed her unmarried husband Stevan B. (36). She tried to help her husband after the incident, and a few days ago, after a month in detention, she was released to defend herself.
