Novi Pazar police arrested a 16-year-old from Tutin on suspicion that he inadvertently shot a man (61) with a gun during a poaching Thursday afternoon.
According to unofficial information, he was hunting wild boar with four men, near Tutin, before the official opening of the hunting season.
– During the hunt, a young man fired a pistol, most likely thinking that he had found game, but hit an older man, wounding him in the stomach and arm – says our source in the police.
The young man is accused of committing crimes of serious bodily injury through negligence, illegal possession of weapons and illegal hunting.
– The police also arrested FJ (44) and JJ Ž. (21) by Novi Pazar on suspicion that they hid a weapon from which they were shot after being wounded, which is why they are charged with the crime of helping the perpetrator after the crime, but also illegal possession of weapons and illegal hunting – says the Police Administration of Novi Pazar.
Criminal charges were also brought in the ordinary proceedings against a man (33) who was with them in poaching. According to unofficial information, in addition to the arrested teenager, two parents and children were hunting.
The Novi Pazar Superior Court judge ordered that the 16-year-old be detained for up to 30 days for minors, while for F.DŽ. and J. Ž. some retention for up to 48 hours.
The wounded man was treated at the Novi Pazar General Hospital and, due to the severity of the injuries, he was transferred to Belgrade.
