Novi Sad resident Radovan S. (55) was arrested on suspicion of shooting Milovan Marinkovic, 52, at his home near Osecina because he believed his wife was cheating on him.
Radovan S. (55) from Novi Sad was arrested on suspicion of having killed Milovan Marinković (52) from Gunjaci village near Osecina with two pistol shots around 10:30 yesterday, and is being checked whether the motive of the crime is jealousy. The murder took place in Marinkovićeva house while his wife and mother were in it.
He suspected of cheating
– Radovan S. allegedly suspected that his wife was cheating on him with Marinković. That is why he came to Gunjace yesterday from Novi Sad. He wanted to deal with his wife’s alleged scammer, says our source, adding:
– When Radovan arrived, he met his wife for the first time in front of Marinković’s house. He asked her if her husband was home and she, suspecting nothing, said yes and called Milovan, telling him that a man was looking for him.
According to the source, Radovan and Milovan talked for a while in the basement and then shots were heard.
– The two allegedly got into a fight, and Radovan asked Milovan why he wasn’t leaving his wife alone, and then he fired two shots at her. Then he got into his Nissan car and drove off. Milovan’s wife and mother went down to the basement and found him bleeding, the source explains. The neighbors of the murdered were stunned yesterday.

Radovan S. was arrested in his “Nissan” car, with which he escaped after the crime. – The police arrested him in Osecina. He calmly surrendered, offered no resistance, and a weapon was found near him. We heard that he confessed to the police what he did – says the source.
– I heard whining and moaning and went out to see what happened. I found a spooky scene. Milovan’s mother and wife were sitting next to her body, asking for help. They tried to help him, they took his pulse, they touched his forehead, but in vain, the neighbor’s story.

Residents of the town of Gunjaci, where the Marinkovic family have lived for years, say that Milovan was a wonderful, hard-working man, a true host.
– He was engaged in agriculture. It has raspberries and blackberries. He also has a refrigerator and is serious about his work, his wife also helps him and works as an accountant in the family business – says the neighbor and points out that they do not know the man who was arrested for the murder in the village.
“This is the first time we have heard from him.” We know that Milovan’s daughter is studying in Novi Sad, so he and his wife sometimes went to her house; she says and adds that she doesn’t think Milovan had a mistress.
– Both he and his wife work a lot, they are constantly in some business, so I don’t even know when they would have time to fight. Honestly, I don’t think that’s the case.
