A twelve-year-old DK from the village of Hajdukovo, near Subotica, was found dead this morning in the courtyard of the house and, according to the information of the investigation, it is most likely that he committed suicide by negligence.

Tihomir Lakatos lives in the neighborhood and says he knows Kristijan and Sandra, the boy’s parents, adding that they are good people, writes “Kurir”.
– They inherited that house a long time ago, from their parents. They have a workshop on the other side of the house, I grew up with the boy’s father, we have known each other since we were little and now the children are playing too. They have two younger girls, and Father Kristijan and Mother Sandra are wonderful parents, Lakatos said, adding:
– Suddenly we hear sirens and an ambulance. What can I tell you, we had just returned from the city, and when we arrived the police were already in front of the house. My daughter also saw a black car, perhaps a funeral car. We were afraid, we suspected there was a tragedy, but we stayed home. Now there is silence and silence, all the neighbors have left, we are sitting in the houses, so as not to disturb them with pain. We will go see the neighbors in the afternoon, when everything calms down a bit. It’s a tragedy, but nobody says anything. We heard it was an accident. We don’t know the details yet. The sisters are younger, they all go to school. It is a mixed and harmonious marriage, the mother is Serbian, she was born somewhere near Kanjiža and Kristijan (45) has a brother abroad. They moved 10, 15 years ago. Christian’s parents are not alive, but we are all friends in the neighborhood, we will help them endure the pain as much as we can.
Sadness in Hajdukovo
There is great sadness in Hajduk. Everyone has heard of the tragedy and in disbelief they say nothing like this has ever happened in their area before, which is considered a peaceful settlement.

I feel very sorry for the child, his son, but also for the parents. How do people survive such a tragedy? They said that the boy was playing, that he was a good and happy boy and that he accidentally tightened the tie around his neck too much, but that he probably could not let go, let go of it and take a breath.
