PODGORICA – Kristijan Gondi (43) of Senta was arrested in Serbia today, when he is wanted by Montenegro for aggravated murder and is serving a 30-year prison sentence, the Police Administration of Montenegro announced today.
As reportedly, Gondi was arrested on the international order of Interpol Podgorica for the purpose of leading him to serve a prison sentence. His arrest was preceded by a joint investigation and search by the Montenegrin and Serbian police.
As reportedly, Gondi was convicted because in 2005 he was in the Drobnići settlement, which belongs to the Budva municipality, together with his accomplice Rade Stošić. To seize property, he killed a German citizen Klaus Deutschlander on February 7, 2005, then dismembered the body, wrapped it up and threw it into the sea.
According to the indictment, Gondi did it for € 17,000 and Stošić to seize Deutschelander’s 105-square-meter apartment in the Drobnići settlement, which was registered in Stošić’s name.
They agreed that Stošić would leave the apartment and Gondi entered the apartment, the door of which was opened by Deutschelander. Stošić was keeping watch, and Gondi killed Deutschlander with a stick, after which he ripped off his head and limbs with an ax, and then they packed everything into a nylon bag.
They then headed to Queen’s Beach on Sveti Stefan and put Deutschlander’s body parts in the boat. After that, they sailed out to sea and dumped the body.
