A citizen of Serbia (26) was arrested in Salzburg on suspicion of having killed his wife (22), hiding the body, calling a nanny to take care of his two children, for which he reported to the police around the midnight, reports the Salzburg orf website.
According to the media, the drama took place last night in a large apartment block.
– Apparently, the spouses, who normally did not live together, clashed, so the young man grabbed a kitchen knife and stabbed the woman. He inflicted several stab wounds on her neck and upper body, according to local media.
– As his children, who were sleeping all the time, were also in the apartment, he hid the body, invited the babysitter to come take care of them, so I reported to the police shortly before midnight – reported the portals.
The man was arrested and an autopsy of the unfortunate woman’s body was ordered.
– Today he will be questioned. The motive for the crime is still unknown, and forensic experts and police conducted an investigation throughout the night, a news outlet said.
The young married couple appears to be originally from eastern Serbia and the victim also has Romanian citizenship.
