He discovered the symptoms of one of the most deadly diseases, so he turned to the host: “I ask you, what did you do?”

The director of the Institute of Oncology and Radiology of the Serbian Clinical Center, Danica Grujicic, was invited to the morning program of TV Prva, and the topic was the current epidemiological situation.

Dr. Grujicic says about the increase in the number of oncology patients due to the crown, so they are waiting to inform the doctor:

Do you go to preventive check-ups?

– You have to restore the trust of both the family doctor and medicine, the Internet is a great thing, but there is a lot of nonsense where people who do not have medical knowledge tell lies.

What are waiting lists?

– The wait for chemotherapy is 12 to 34 days, and for operations less than a month – explained the doctor.

Cukanovic asked Dr. Grujicic what we should do to stop the massive appearance of cancer. He pointed out that, among other things, we must take care of the environment, not litter anywhere, control air quality …

– All this should start now, we should pressure the corresponding ministries to do their job … It is not enough to have information that the air is polluted. Who contaminated it? Cars? You won’t drive, you won’t go into this part of town, period! If the industry emits toxic substances, do not do that – said the famous doctor, to which the presenter commented that it is not realistic in practice.

– Why isn’t it realistic? It is not realistic because we are giving up and we think that someone else will do everything, to solve our problems. That must be a reason for protest, you young people must protest to live in a healthy environment. You have to punish those who pollute, if you don’t punish them draconically, they will continue to do so. I ask you, what did you do as a journalist about it? – Dr. Danica told Cukanovic in an animated tone.

The presenter briefly noted that they report about it every day, to which Dr. Grujicic said it is necessary to invite environmentalists to the show.

– I can only say that a healthy environment is one of the important conditions for a healthy life – he concluded.

Flu and corona shock?

– We received 100 vaccines that were used on the first day. People understand that they can help. As for the opening of kovid hospitals, it is going according to plan. If we did not have state hospitals, we would have a worse situation than Italy.

What is the first symptom, what is it that generates suspicions that we should report to oncology?

– When it comes to brain tumors, there are subtle psychological changes that can be noticed by family members, those who know someone well. KWhen someone begins to tell jokes that are not characteristic of him at all, when he behaves in a way that is not his own, when he shows traits that were never an integral part of his personality, that is when the first diagnosis should be made. Unfortunately, that does not happen, it is usually interpreted that someone had a death, and had a fight with his wife …

Dr. Nestorović mentioned that baking soda can cure cancer.

– I don’t think I said that, but the baking room has its positive properties, with acid in the stomach and so on. There are many substances in nature that can help. Peppermint tea, chamomile when your stomach hurts … But no study has ever been done on why, we drink it because that’s how they teach us … – says Dr. Grujicic and adds that there are medications that are the product of research, but they help some and not others.

– Nestorović is an experienced doctor, we all take children to exams with him, but sometimes the way he says something can be misinterpreted.
