The Crisis Staff session for the fight against the coronavirus ended around 9 a.m., and the participants did not give statements to journalists.
As explained, the details will be discussed at 3pm at the press conference.
As unofficially reported by the Belgrade media, it was agreed that the existing measures will remain in effect this weekend, and that the decision to extend working hours for retail facilities and catering services will be considered in the new session of the Monday. Likewise, the media affirm that cinemas, theaters and museums will be open until 9:00 p.m. from Monday.
Secretary of State of the Ministry of Health Mirsad Đerlek previously stated that in the Crisis Staff session “there will be a lot of controversy” about the measures to be adopted.
Furthermore, the Deputy Mayor of Belgrade, Goran Vesić, stated this morning that appeal to crisis staff members find a way to extend the working hours of commercial and catering facilities on weekends, at least in addition to working hours.
