Famous Serbian basketball player Milan Gurović (45) is currently under house arrest for beating his wife and minor daughter.
Gurovic was sentenced to 10 months of house arrest for domestic violence and has already served six months of his sentence. The former member of the national team began serving his sentence in April and will be released in January.
Gurovic is serving his sentence in his apartment in the Ledine neighborhood of Belgrade, where he has his own sports hall and basketball club.
“Gurović was supposed to serve his sentence in his mother’s apartment in Novi Sad, but he changed his mind and made a request to postpone the execution of the sentence, as he submitted a request to be in Belgrade,” says the source of the newspaper “Alo”.
The former ace of Partizan and Red Star conducts basketball training for kids in his classroom while serving his sentence He is also entitled to a two-hour walk every day, and his two minor children visit him regularly. Gurović often posts images and recordings of training sessions from his living room on Facebook.

“Gurović caught up with her in the living room, pushed her to the floor and started shooting her in the body. As she fell, he threatened to kill them all. After a few moments, her daughter MG (16) entered the apartment. She found her father and mother arguing, so he began to defend his mother.

He was forbidden to communicate with his wife Tanja (43) and their 16-year-old daughter for six months, and was forbidden to get closer than 300 meters.
