Their detention has been prolonged due to special circumstances that indicate that they could repeat the crime in a short period of time, court spokeswoman Mirjana Piljić told Tanjug.

According to this decision, their detention can last until January 27, after which it will be decided whether there are still grounds to continue the detention. The Belgrade High Prosecutor’s Office is conducting an investigation against Djuric and BL on suspicion that they committed a criminal offense: illegal production and distribution of narcotics, for which they are threatened with a sentence of three to 12 years in prison. The investigation is in the final stages and a decision on the prosecution is awaited. At the hearing at the prosecutor’s office, Đurić defended that he used the found skunk for his own use, however, the prosecution did not believe him.
