The technical acceptance of the gondola was completed and the Ministry of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure, acting at the request of the investor JP “Skijalita Srbije”, has issued a use permit. Leitner representatives completed the training of the PE “Skijalita Srbije” workers for the handling of the gondola, the final bodywork was completed and the gondola was connected to a new system of sale and control of passes.
In other words, each pass is also valid for a new gondola ride, with the exception of a pass for an individual trip, which will have a special price for the gondola.
On March 23 last year, PE “Skijalita Srbije” awarded a public procurement contract for the works for the construction of the Brzee – Mali Karaman gondola with the corresponding infrastructure according to the “turnkey” system, to the consortium led by the contractor Leitner AG.
The invitation to submit offers, which was published on March 13, until the deadline of March 23, 2020, received an acceptable offer with a total offer price of 22,495,000 euros excluding VAT. After the opening and the expert evaluation, and based on the Public Procurement Law, it was concluded that the conditions for the award of the contract to the consortium led by Leitner AG were met.
The gondola has a total length of 3,741 meters, has 28 pillars and 74 cabins.
