The Minister of Culture and Information, Maja Gojković, considered that a special television channel should be formed, which will broadcast parliamentary sessions and board sessions.

“We need to think in the future about how the Serbian National Assembly has a special channel, which will satisfy the deputies, but also the citizens of Serbia who want to watch our sessions and be informed of everything we do,” he said. Gojković in the Serbian Assembly, on the occasion of the deputies’ observation that the broadcast of the session on RTS was interrupted on Saturday night due to a volleyball match.

He stated that the work and the program of no television in Serbia is ideal, so the program of the Public Media Service is also not ideal.

Gojković told the authorities of Serbian Radio-Television and Vojvodina Radio-Television and other televisions in Serbia that citizens need more content that addresses Serbian culture.

“If we had more content about culture on television, the citizens of Serbia would know much more about it, there would be no controversy and we would talk about culture only if a scandal or incident broke out according to certain and only then did we talk about culture, not culture something good, “Gojković said.

She assessed that the amount of Serbia investing in the cultural segment in recent years is being minimized.
