GET ANGRY BECAUSE YOU DIDN’T ABOLISH THE SERBIAN! The High Representative in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Valentin Inzko, ends his term with threats of a “successor” and new insults.

But the “robust policy” he calls for, Germany’s greater commitment and, as he puts it, the Biden-Merkel “winning combination” hardly suggest a move in that direction.

Inzko’s departure from the post of High Representative in Bosnia and Herzegovina after 12 years, for now, represents a relief for the Republika Srpska, but it would be even greater if the Office of the High Representative in Bosnia and Herzegovina were closed, believe interlocutors from “Novosti”.

The President of United Srpska and the Director of the Serbian Club in the Parliament of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Dr. Nenad Stevandić, tell us that it would be better for Inzko to leave Bosnia and Herzegovina without insulting the Republika Srpska.

– As his end nears in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Inzko started screaming and calling out to RS more and more. He did all of that for 12 years, and especially strengthened the last two. You don’t need that. Let it go without noise – says Stevandić.

He points out that Inzko will be remembered as a senior representative who worked only for the benefit of Bosnians, unfortunately like many others. He acted, he adds, as if 51 per cent of Bosnia and Herzegovina, where the Bosnians are, were in fact the whole of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and that the Republika Srpska, as a constitutional category and of Dayton, does not exist, that is, it exists when someone needs to be insulted.

– Inzko’s message that the fate of Bosnia and Herzegovina will be decided by the Biden-Brussels-Berlin axis is a wish of Bosnian politics, which Inzko repeated once again. Just to find out who he worked for all these years. He spent his entire term to receive applause in Sarajevo, to the detriment of the Republika Srpska, says Stevandić.

The President of the Republika Srpska, Zeljka Cvijanovic, stated that, when it comes to the High Representatives, the position of the Republika Srpska is clear: we do not need this old High Representative or any new one.

– Some will say that the High Representative is a category of Dayton. That is true, but it is also true that senior officials have usurped numerous powers that were not granted to them by the Dayton Agreement. It is also true that the High Representatives, instead of working according to their mandate and contributing to building better internal relations in Bosnia and Herzegovina, persistently destroyed any agreement between its constituent peoples, siding with some and working against others, Cvijanovic noted.

She claimed that all of this was done under the guise of creating, as she put it, a state of operation, and it is getting worse thanks to senior representatives:

– In essence, the intention is to collapse the concept of entity, mainly the constitutional force of the Republika Srpska in which the Serbian people dominate, but also to further collapse the position of the Croatian people and prevent them from getting rid of the political rights of the collective . If the European Union defends the position that a High Representative in Bosnia and Herzegovina is necessary, that is a clear indication that they themselves do not believe in the European perspective of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

In twelve years, Inzko made a number of fundamental mistakes. On several occasions, he insulted the Republika Srpska, and the one that resonated the most was when RS Day, January 9, was compared to the day of the founding of the Independent State of Croatia. He also requested the intervention of the military forces against RS. On several occasions, he threatened sanctions on RS politicians for denying Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as if a referendum was held on Republic Day, which, after all, was held.

THE MAIN GOAL WAS HIS DODIK

During his tenure, Inzko imposed the decision on the establishment of the company “Elektroprenos BiH” and tried to take the entire energy sector from RS and transfer it to the level of BiH, but was unsuccessful. It extended the mandate of foreign judges and prosecutors in Bosnia and Herzegovina, which RS rejected. A few months ago, he said he would impose a law according to which all those who deny the genocide in Srebrenica will be punished.

In his reports to the UN Security Council, he persistently cited Serbian politicians as the main problem in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and emphasized the name of Milorad Dodik. He never condemned crimes against Serbs and demanded that Muslim leaders be prosecuted in times of war.
