The mayor of Sabac, Nebojsa Zelenovic, and his closest associates are blackmailing people and pressuring them to vote, but also to collect the votes of others!
If someone ignores orders, their job is at stake. This is demonstrated by an audio recording in which Stefan Jovanović, a member of the City Council and Zelenović’s partner, is heard openly threatening to fire Milan Stanković Maki, if he does not provide him with a sufficient number of votes.
Stankovic says that he cannot get more than ten votes in his village, and he replies:
– I do not know what to say. Get 20 votes. I don’t know how you think I’m going to save your job, and you do it – says Zelenović’s associate and member of the City Council.
These audio recordings were made prior to the elections on June 21 and bear witness to the most terrible pressures on the people of Šapče.
We remind you, the elections in Sabac are repeated and citizens go to the polls on Saturday, September 5.
