He was sent to eternal rest by his daughter Milojka, his grandsons Dragoljub and Milan, his daughter-in-law Katarina, friends, colleagues and comrades in arms.
Retired General Ljubisa Dikovic, his friends and his daughter Milojka spoke about General Ojdanic’s life in full persecution of the church in Ravanjsko polje. Actress Ivana Žigon recited the verses from “Defiant Song” by Dobrica Erić.
The last honor was awarded by Generals Branko Krga, Bozidar Delic and others, the former Prime Minister of Serbia Nikola Sainovic, as well as numerous personalities from all walks of social life.

– Our famous Užice, soldier, patriot, general and minister, dedicated to the state, the family and his homeland has left us. He has always been “our general” and a man to all of us! When I was a child, I dreamed of military school. He was a noncommissioned officer, and after graduating from the military academy, he went through everything from the department commander to the chief of staff to the defense minister. He had a master’s degree in military science. He deserved numerous decorations, from the Order of Military Merit, the Order of Warriors, to the Order of Freedom … In the modern history of our army, there are few officers who have had such a trip – said Diković.

– He commanded the defense of Serbia, defending the homeland from NATO aggression. She made the most difficult decisions, carried them on her shoulders. Under his command, we knew that the man was responsible, principled, honest and brave in front of us.
Dikovic noted that at one point, Serbia resigned General Ojdanic, followed by a trip to The Hague, where he spent 11 years, 4 months and 4 days. When he returned home, he settled in with his family, in serious health. Serbia later rehabilitated him.
