Today, mile-long columns of vehicles were registered at the border crossings, at the entrance to Serbia from Hungary and Croatia, and the main reason is the new measures and the mandatory negative PCR test when entering our country, which enters into effective December 20.

That is, as of this morning, in all Facebook groups, citizens who want to enter Serbia from abroad report that the columns are kilometers long and that they must wait three hours, which can be seen on the cameras of border crossings.

The Government of Serbia has prescribed a new measure of mandatory negative CRP test upon entering our country for all citizens, including those living abroad. This sparked a general frenzy, so everyone rushed to the country before the measures.

The reason is more Saint Nicholas, which is celebrated tomorrow, so some citizens rushed and left for Serbia today to celebrate the glory in their country.

Judging by the photos of Horgos and Batrovac, thousands of people will “enter” Serbia this Friday, mostly from Croatia, and an additional reason is the quarantine that prevails in the countries from which they come.

Recall, the new measures will come into force on December 20 and last until January 10, and mean that foreigners who want to enter Serbia will need a negative PCR test, no longer than 48 hours, while Serbian citizens if not they have that proof, they must go into isolation for ten days.
