The chairman of the People’s Party Legal Council, lawyer Vladimir Gajić, declared today that the head of the Kikinda police administration, Dušan Glišin, “can only tell his subordinates what they should take into account,” but not him.
“The Chief of the Kikinda Police Department, even in his public speech, de facto threatens me as a lawyer with a warning that I must be careful. I ask him – if I don’t take it into account, the Minister of the Interior, Aleksandar Vulin, has a backup plan, ”Gajic asked, and the Popular Party announced.
Gajić stated that “Glišin’s comic claim that the police are at the service of the citizens, taking into account the results of the police in the last ten years” is humorous.
He noted that the Kikinda police issued a certificate to the member of the Main Board of the People’s Party, Svetlana Kozić, only after her protest due to the behavior of the police.
The president of the People’s Party Legal Council said today that the Kikinda police were “severely abused” for transmitting threats from the Serbian Progressive Party to Svetlana Kozic, because they pointed out “illegalities and irregularities in the work” of the “Dragoljub Udicki” preschool.
Kikinda Police Chief: Gajić must be careful when presenting unsubstantiated falsehoods
The head of the Kikinda police administration, Dušan Glišin, rejected as incorrect and malicious the accusations of the People’s Party lawyer Vladimir Gajić that the Kikinda police officers acted on the orders of the Serbian Progressive Party (SNS) and therefore , they intimidated the citizens.
Earlier today, Gajic said that the police in Kikinda were “severely abused” for transmitting threats from the Serbian Progressive Party to Svetlana Kozic, a member of the Board of the People’s Party, because she pointed out “illegalities and irregularities in the work” of the preschool “Dragoljub Udicki. “.
In a written statement transmitted to the Interior Ministry (MUP), Glisin said that the police are at the service of the citizens and that Gajic must “be careful” in presenting such “flagrant and baseless falsehoods.”
“In the specific case Gajić is talking about, the police acted on the basis of the report that the acting director of the preschool institution ‘Dragoljub Udicki’ presented against the People’s Party member Svetlana Kozić,” Glišin said.
He added that the police informed the Prosecutor’s Office of everything, and affirmed that there were no elements of a criminal act, “so the case should be reduced to a private lawsuit, with a recommendation to warn Svetlana Kozić about her behavior.”
He said that Svetlana Kozić was issued a Certificate on that fact and that it “described the actions of the police officers and the measures that were taken”.
