Starting next school year, starting September 1, first graders will receive a new subject “Digital World,” the Ministry of Education announced.
Education Minister Mladen Ssarčević previously announced that computing will be reduced to the lower grades of primary school and that it will be a compulsory subject from first grade.
The number of classes will not increase for first graders, because the project classes are being phased out.

The student should not know the definition of digital devices, but should share with their life partners the situations that convinced them of the usefulness of digital devices: describe how parents pay bills from home, without waiting in line, how to find the information they need: store hours, forecast weather, read newspapers, use navigation …
