Talk about the European integration of Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina

The meeting was held as part of the continuation of the regional talks and the topics were European integration and the prospect of the accession of Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina to the European Union.

Interlocutors also discussed the European Commission’s Enlargement Package, as well as the EU’s Economic and Investment Plan for the Western Balkans.

Bilateral relations, economic cooperation and remediation of the consequences of the Kovid-19 epidemic were also discussed, according to the statement.

Speaking on the 2020 enlargement package, President Vučić, Milorad Dodik and Dragan Čović highlighted the importance of the EU accession process in maintaining a strong European perspective for the region, as well as for further transformation aimed at building developed countries and stable.

Cooperation with European partners on this path, the interlocutors pointed out, will improve the accession process.

Acknowledging the commitment to join the Union, they discussed improving regional cooperation and strengthening good neighborly relations, the statement added.

Continuing the development of the region and improving relations are of great importance to achieve long-term foreign policy priorities such as membership of the European Union.

– Serbia’s European path and cooperation in the region are the priorities of Serbian foreign policy – President Vučić pointed out and emphasized that the plan for the economic recovery of the Western Balkans and the development of relations in the region will contribute to the economic competitiveness and the strengthening of the economy.
