Six months have passed since the death of Strahinja Stojanovic, who was assassinated on September 13, 2020, after an explosive device was activated under his BMW X5 jeep on the street of the Omladinskih brigade in New Belgrade.
On that occasion obituaries were published in the newspapers and Stojanović’s friends said goodbye to him.
– Days go by, but sadness and pain remain. we miss you every moment. you are here with us, every day, always and forever! – It was written in an obituary, while in the other it said: – Our beautiful angel, we keep you from oblivion. We will love you forever, it was written in another obituary.
We remind you that Stojanović was in the jeep with his girlfriend, the Colombian Sonja Suárez Gómez (46), at the time of the explosion. The killer, who allegedly detonated a bomb placed under Stojanović’s jeep via remote control, followed his vehicle for 8 kilometers before pressing the button and killing him. Due to the force of the detonation, the vehicle literally split in half, the parts were scattered all over the road and, according to eyewitnesses, Stojanović lay on the street with his legs blown off while the Colombian woman held her head in her arms . Stojanović was buried in the “elite” part of the Nova Bežanija cemetery, where graves cost a staggering 20,000 euros or more. Gradiška’s ML is a suspect in the murder.
