FOR THE DEATH OF A CHILD “UNDER THE MAGNIFIER” AND PARENTS: It is being investigated why Dimitrije R. (12) from Pridvorica could drive a tractor for his mother and father

After the findings requested by the competent Prosecutor’s Office, and when the Basic Public Ministry receives the report, it will be known when the child will be buried, that is, when the body will be delivered to the family, but also if the responsibility of the parents will be examined .

An unprecedented tragedy occurred on Friday morning, around 9:30 a.m., on the path inside the courtyard of the boy’s family home.

– At one point, the tractor leaned to one side and the boy was on the ground. Then the cab of the tractor fell on him: the inhabitants of Pridvorica relate the terrible accident.

At the time of the tragedy, all the members of the family, mother, father and two younger sisters were in the house and the yard, but the child was not saved. The ambulance team called by the parents could only declare the death of the twelve-year-old boy.

Soon, the police and the base prosecutor arrived at the scene of the accident. The investigating bodies, as we learn, made a report with all the relevant data on the circumstances of the accident and sent it to the Base Prosecutor’s Office.

– Consequently, the prosecutor will decide what steps to take next. Since it is a minor of only 12 years who was driving the tractor on his own, the most likely is that the responsibility of the parents will be investigated, we found out in the investigation

The residents of Pridvorica have been in disbelief since Friday, everyone is in mourning for the child.

– It is a wonderful family, hardworking, and that little one was a child for example. Their parents are involved in agriculture, so in those homes, children often drive a tractor alone, although it is risky, locals say, adding that probably none of the family members thought there would be an accident.
