Tonight there was a huge fire on Partizanska Street in Novi Sad. The torch engulfed hangars located near the former “Contrast” nightclub, in which three girls and three boys died in a fire in 2012.
According to the “Blic” reporter from the scene, traffic in this part of the city is completely blocked and fire trucks are in the field.
The citizens of that part of Novi Sad are in panic, because they fear that there will be a fire of dangerous substances.
For now, there is no reliable information on the cause of the fire, nor if there are any injuries.
The gendarmerie blocked the entire neighborhood to allow the firefighters to pass.
The fire allegedly broke out shortly before 6 p.m. Flames can be seen even from the train station, and a large number of people gathered at the scene.
