BELGRADE – In today’s session, the Government of the Republic of Serbia adopted a conclusion that stipulates that all adult citizens of our country can send tax invoices and receipts for card payments (resguardos) from October 15 to participate in the new round of the Take the Bill and Win 2020 prize game..
As in the two previous occasions, the prize game is organized in order to combat the underground economy by sensitizing and motivating citizens to pay non-cash and carry tax invoices with each purchase, because only then can they be sure that the merchant it operates in accordance with the law and pays taxes. with which health, education and other public services are financed, which is more important than ever during a pandemic. The organizer of the prize game is the Government of the Republic of Serbia, and NALED provides the support.
The criteria for the prize game are the same as in previous editions. It is necessary to pack in an envelope 10 tax invoices or 10 receipts (not to be mixed) of individual value of at least 100 dinars, not greater than September 1, 2020. Envelopes of any color, size or shape can be used, as long as they fit in the mailbox . When sending the address to the envelope, it is necessary to write TAKE ACCOUNT AND WIN 2020 on the front.
The name and surname, the address of residence / stay of the personal document, as well as the contact telephone number must be written legibly on the back of the shipment. The envelopes are sent free of charge and the Serbian Post is responsible for storing them until the formal start of the prize game.
RULES OF THE PRIZE GAME: Invoices will be valid from September 1
All adults with permanent or temporary residence on the territory of Serbia have the right to participate
Sweepstakes participants will not pay for postal service when sending envelopes.
There will be two rounds, and all envelopes received in the first round will participate in the second round.
The envelope must have 10 fiscal accounts
The minimum value of each account must be 100 dinars.
The first round will be completed by the new year.
Citizens are invited to take care of their health and respect all epidemiological measures when participating in the prize game, preparing envelopes at home and depositing them in the nearest mailbox without queuing and without queuing. An additional way to protect yourself, but also to double your chances of winning, is to pay without cash whenever possible because this way you avoid direct contact with the seller and the tickets.
The detailed rules of the prize game will be published in due course in the media and on the website www.uzmiracun.rs, in accordance with the Law. The first draw is scheduled for the end of November, and the responsible citizens await this time as well. Very valuable prizes: 60 cars and 12 apartments in Belgrade. Also on this occasion, a contest of cities and municipalities will be organized in the number of invoices sent, and the most active local communities will share a total fund of 180,000 euros for projects of public importance chosen by the citizens.
The organization of the prize game is one of the activities planned by the National Program for the Repression of the Gray Economy, based on the positive experiences of previous years. According to NALED research, in the previous round of the prize game – Take the bill and win 2018, 41% of Serbian citizens participated, directly or through relatives, who sent more than 107 million invoices and tax receipts, with an estimated minimum value of 37.4 billion dinars. The prize game also had a positive impact on the tax culture, given that citizens sent 55% more complaints to the Tax Administration for not issuing tax invoices compared to the same period before the prize game, while the non-cash payments increased 18.8%. More than a third of citizens indicated that the prize game encouraged them to take tax bills and 42% to participate in such action again.
