Eyewitness testimonies of the horrible accident in Surcin (VIDEO)

We saw a man fall through the windshield. There was debris everywhere. There were groans, groans: this is how one of the witnesses of a serious traffic accident on the road at the bend of the airport “Nikola Tesla” recounts the shocking scene of “Blic”.

Two people were killed in a horrific truck collision, in which the driver and six passengers were with the truck. According to unofficial information, the driver and co-pilot were killed.

The debris remained at the scene of the gruesome accident. The truck is completely destroyed in front and to the right. Witnesses told “Blic” horrible moments immediately after the terrible accident.

– We were startled by a roar and soon the sirens of the ambulances. We ran to see what happened. The view was eerie. We saw a man who fell through the windshield lying motionless – says an annoyed neighbor.

According to him, when he heard a loud bang and then saw the destroyed vehicle, he thought they were all dead.

– I thought they were all dead. There were so many terrible scenes that I won’t be able to forget them for long, ‘she said.

The van is supposedly a private carrier, and the passengers headed to the Czech Republic, writes “Novosti”. According to unofficial information, at the scene of the accident both vehicles were traveling in the same lane from the direction of the city, when the truck, for reasons not yet determined, flew under the truck, and the truck forcibly moved to the right of the impact.

After the accident, the passengers of the van were trapped, so the firefighters had to cut up the vehicle. Five ambulance teams transported the injured, aged between 28 and 40, to Zemun Hospital and the Emergency Center.

Under what circumstances the driver of the van lost control of the steering wheel, eyewitnesses to the accident also speculated, but will only be determined through an official investigation.

The police conducted an investigation and traffic normalized two hours after the traffic accident.
