Veljko Belivuk, alias Velja Nevolja, and Marko Miljković were arrested this morning around 5 in the morning by order of the Prosecutor’s Office.
They are charged with murder and the most serious crimes.
This morning, in a major action by the Police and the BIA, 16 people suspected of associating for committing serious crimes, kidnappings and murders were arrested and detained. During the night, 30 places were searched.
Organized crime prosecutor Mladen Nenadic said the arrests were made after several months of joint work by the Organized Crime Prosecutor’s Office, various organizational units of the Interior Ministry and the BIA.
It stated that the suspects were detained, among other things, for association in order to commit criminal acts of kidnapping and aggravated homicide.
– Searches and investigations are being carried out in 30 places and a decision has been made on the arrest of 16 people. After the period of detention expires, they will be taken to the prosecution of organized crime – he said.
