In today’s session, the Serbian government, on the recommendation of crisis personnel, adopted an amended decree on measures for the prevention and suppression of the corona virus, which allows the working hours of catering facilities until 11 pm.
Limiting working hours to 11 p.m. is actually a stricter measure, because some facilities, which have gardens, could operate up to an hour after midnight.
This decision will take effect immediately, so it will apply from tonight at 11 p.m., when the reinforced inspection services will arrive in the field to control compliance with this prohibition in all cities, but with special emphasis on Belgrade.
Shops, catering facilities, from cafes and restaurants to clubs, all other bars with the exception of pharmacies and gas stations, which can remain open even after 11pm, will be controlled.
As the authorities announced, the sanctions will be for all those who do not respect these measures, without exceptions, especially in Belgrade, where more than half of the new infected by the corona virus have been registered in recent days.
Let us remind you that 151 people newly infected with kovida-19 have been registered in Serbia in the last 24 hours, and crisis staff members have repeatedly pointed out that the situation is worrying.
Taking into account that the crown will shine in the second half of October and November, it is not ruled out that in the coming weeks new and stricter measures will be introduced to prevent the spread of the epidemic in our country.
