Vehicles determined to be used without authorization will be temporarily impounded due to a suspected customs violation due to police controls.

Foreign citizens, as well as citizens of Serbia residing abroad (working, studying or have been granted temporary residence there), can come to Serbia by car registered abroad and use it for the duration of their stay, explains our interlocutor instructed in this procedure. . That vehicle may remain in our country for a maximum of three months. If they plan to stay longer in Serbia, they must do a temporary import, which is completely exempt from import duties. In addition, a foreigner must have an approved stay in our country for more than three months.

On this occasion, we contacted some singers. Cekic claims that everything is clean in his case. – I am an Austrian citizen and I don’t think I could even drive a car with our license plates. For me, everything is legal and clean, backed by documentation – he says. The same goes for Dara: – All my life I have had German and Austrian papers, and since I gave birth to my son, French papers. I don’t need to change tables when I travel non-stop and have clean papers. Whoever wants to can control me – says Bubamara.

We also tried calling Rasta, who was unavailable for comment. However, his friend explained to us how things are when it comes to the rapper’s fleet:

– Rasta is the owner of the car he bought and has a work permit in Switzerland. On that basis, you can drive a car in our country. You recently turned in the full documentation to the police and the paperwork is clean. Rasta has never been involved in fraud and has the necessary evidence for everything he bought.
