The movement “Broom 2020” presented today to the Electoral Commission of the Republic (REC) the signatures of support of the citizens to the list of their candidates for the next parliamentary elections in Serbia.
First on the electoral list is the president of the Democratic Party of Serbia (DSS) and one of the leaders of that movement, Milos Jovanovic, who said that the extra-institutional political struggle cannot give results.
He added that the movement had been thinking for several months whether to start an electoral campaign, and that the idea of ”Broom 2020″ was to “clean up” party employment, partocracy and false diplomas in Serbia.
“Today, the youth of Serbia think that it is much easier to leave Serbia than to try to fight in the country,” he said.
All levels of elections in Serbia, which were postponed in March due to the fall, are scheduled for June 21.
