“You can assess that the epidemiological situation is still uncertain because we still have the presence of the virus and we have local transmission, that is, the possibility of people getting sick,” said Tiodorovic, adding that the evaluation that the virus had been weakened was incorrect, Novosti reports.

He claimed that the virus is less present because there are far fewer people who can transmit it.

“In the new Clinical Center in Nis, we have 738 free beds and only 13 patients who are covid positive. More than 70 people were admitted to the gerontology center and 44 workers cover them, which is good news,” says Tiodorović.

According to him, there are far fewer positives, and the goal is to drop below five percent, while the percentage is now 2.5 to 3.2 percent at Nis.

“We wish there were not 28 positive days. The last two days have shown that a good part of the population does not behave responsibly and does not publish the planned measures. We have relaxed too much, we will see the result in the next seven to 10 days “Tiodrovic said.

He noted that in the total number of patients, 30% are under the age of 60.

Tiodorović stated that now the Clinical Center in Niš can be prepared to work under normal conditions.

“We only have a hot spot in Leskovac, there are 52” Jura “with a positive result. Fortunately, we are talking about younger people,” added our interlocutor, noting that masks are mandatory and gloves only in certain situations, in the store and in the market.
