– Our meeting lasted two hours, I said what companies from certain countries want to do for our country, to bring the best result for our country. Draw the best conclusions about the progress of our production, about the preservation of our finances. We have always planned badly, in the last 30 years I have witnessed that, we liked to deceive ourselves and lie about how our situation will be better next year. Perhaps in recent years the situation has been better, as can be seen from the results. As president, I can say that big projects are planned. We have countless problems and we have looked at them today, from technical problems to displacement problems.
– I am still absolutely dissatisfied with the way local government budgets are planned, but I am absolutely satisfied with the way large projects are planned – said Vučić.
– Before the end of the year, we will try to repay another 170 million euros of debt to Azerbaijan, which was agreed in 2011 or 2012, on the Cacak-Ljig highway. The situation was dire then and now we await confirmation of a better credit rating. Our increase in public debt is about 5.7 percent during the crown crisis, the president said.
Right now, he says, four roads are being built and at this moment all four are being worked on.
– Azerbaijan is doing a good job on the bridge near Sabac and 10% of the works have already been completed. Work is underway on the bridge near Rača, on the Morava bridge in the Moravia corridor and work is under way on the fourth Preljina – Požega road.
– Regarding the railways, we have serious problems and I believe again that we will finish next year.
– I believe that before the end of the year, we will complete the Balkan Stream gas pipeline – said the president.
– Serbia will undoubtedly be the best in Europe – said the President speaking of GDP – We believe that in the next three years we will be the best in Europe, which will be a small miracle for our country.
– We talk about Simpo, Yumko, Lasta and Trial. We look at how to solve problems in the future, not problems, but good things about the jadarite.
– Our numbers have not yet decreased, but what is important, we managed to continue to keep health care and protection under control. I hope that we will open a hospital in Kruševac no later than the 17th, which will further strengthen our capacities, where the infection is, when I look at it, in Kraljevo as if everyone had a crown. Now it is the same in Trstenik, but when you look at Kraljevo, where there are more than 200 every day, you wonder if everyone has a crown – said the president.
“It’s not just Engel, everyone said that,” the president commented yesterday on Engel’s statement. If I was not in this place, I suppose it would be easier for me to answer. I think now you can see how right I was when I spoke a few weeks ago, hiding nothing from people and saying nothing about personal sympathies or no sympathies. Of course, these attitudes are not something that benefits the Republic of Serbia. We must be aware that we must respond seriously and responsibly. I just hope that the administration has a slightly different attitude than what was said yesterday. It is our job to follow our policy – said the President, adding that there is no doubt that we will face the most difficult pressures. “What bothers me is that many in Serbia are happy with it, thinking that it is directed against me,” the president said.
Serbia, as he says, adapts only to the weak and humiliated for many in the region, so it is careful that no one feels threatened, but also that we are not weak.
– We want the best possible relations with everyone, but we do not want our victims to be disrespected, for history to change, for them to say that we were occupiers in 1918 in Montenegro, that Jasenovac did not exist and that we were villains in World War II . On the other hand, we will not be failures and weak in the economy because it does not suit anyone – says Vučić.
He points out that many in the region should not pull tables with GDP, because they would have to write that Serbia is the first. He says that the pressures on our country will be increasing, but that Serbia will fight with the truth.
“I won’t say a single nasty word about Albright or Engel.” Tell me, but it is my obligation to protect this country – says Vučić.
– I saw that Kurti also says that democracy is in danger in Serbia. Let there be democracy in Pristina, and only if there is no democracy in Belgrade.
– That speaks a lot about them and nothing more than that – said Vučić.
– As President of the Republic and without the consent of Parliament and at any time, I will sign the act of (supposed) independence of Kosovo – I guarantee that I will receive the Nobel Peace Prize.
– We want to save our company, especially because it is better than everyone in the region – said Vučić, commenting on the statements about “Air Serbia”. He recalled that we are still the only ones in the region that have a direct flight to New York.
Speaking about the hospital in Batajnica, the president said:
– If we had not opened it, we would no longer have a place to accommodate people.
– Batajnica hospital saved hundreds of lives. We have 9000 people in hospitals, and look how many there are in the most developed countries of the world, in proportion to the number of inhabitants, and you say there are no windows, are they normal people? – said Vučić.
Vučić referred to the statement by the former Governor of the National Bank of Serbia, Dejaan Šoškić, who said that “there are no conditions for such a high economic growth rate” as announced.
“When he came for the governor, you needed 75 dinars for the euro, and when he left three years later, he took 118. I can’t believe he said that,” Vučić recalled.
– In the end, the results are measured, his profession was never important, but passion. Plus 3 is an unattainable number for him, it is up to us how hard we will work and tackle these projects. Then they will complain about 2022, the losers will always make things uglier. That’s fine when politicians work for us, but not when they work for doctors. We have 90 of those who participate and 10 of those who do not – he noted.
– It is an anomaly and we will soon have a contest to solve it – said the president when asked about the directors of public companies that still have current status.
– I think that’s my highest compliment. I did not distribute decorations and decorations along political lines – said the president when commenting on the move of the Zajecar doctor who returned the decoration received. He mentioned that the doctor had been in the PLD for years and that he took advantage of the whole situation to be able to stand in the elections again.
– I am proud that you have also shown the difference between us and those who are our political opponents.
The president cited a similar example from Novi Sad in which he insisted that the decoration be awarded to a doctor belonging to the opposition political party.
– For the first time in Serbia, these people built a hospital in four months. And let me ask you something, is everything still working at the Clinical Center after a decade? It does not work? How do you expect everything to work out here? What do you want, put people in your houses?
– Pensioners will receive 5,000 dinars on the 17th. I am especially grateful to them, I know it certainly means a lot to them – said the president. Once again he asked citizens to take a little more care of the elderly.
