This decision rejected a part of Elez’s extradition request by Bosnia and Herzegovina in relation to the second series of criminal acts committed between 2005 and 2009, because the Extradition Agreement between Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina was not in force at that time.

Elez has been in extradition custody since his December arrest in Belgrade, where he has lived and worked for many years after serving a nine-year prison sentence in Serbia, where he was sentenced as the organizer of a criminal group in Serbia in 2009.
