The vice president of the Main Board of the SNS and mayor of Novi Sad Milos Vucevic said today that the electoral assembly of the SNS, if the epidemiological conditions allow it, will take place in December or January, noting that the majority of the party members they want President Aleksandar Vucic to remain in command.
– I think that on Sunday or in the next session of the SNS Presidency, we will decide when the party congress or the great assembly will take place, probably in December or January next year – Vučević told reporters after celebrating the 12th birthday of the party.
He points out that this will be preceded by internal party elections, from local, municipal and city boards, to the party assembly that elects the Main Board and the Executive Board, but is convinced that everyone supports Vučić.
– He said that he would resign from the position of party president, and we will do everything possible to convince him to remain captain, because we don’t see why he shouldn’t be captain if he already brings victory – said Vučević.
He points out that this is his personal position, but adds that he is convinced that 99 percent of party members think the same.
Speaking about the changes at the local and executive power level, Vučević said that after these elections, more than 50 percent of the municipal presidents and mayors have already changed, and he believes there will be changes also at the executive power level.
Vučević adds that the changes will take place not only within the election deadlines, but also “between the lines” if someone works against SNS policy and if citizens are not satisfied with their work.
When asked if Tomislav Nikolic is still coming to the party, Vucevic replied that he is sure that Nikolic is still in contact with his party, adding that he does not see him personally, because he spends more time in Novi Sad, but does not see him. dilemmas that he and Vučić are the founders of the party.
