The illegal “Casa Tsunami” rafts, placed along the Sava embankment, will be removed very soon, as the adoption of a plan will follow that will clean up all illegal floating objects.
The decision is expected to be made around the New Year, when all illegal boats in the capital are finally withdrawn.
The Kurir Inspection Affairs Secretariat says that for the on-site inspection of the “Tsunami House” it was determined that there are eight relocation facilities, in relation to which administrative procedures are being carried out before this secretariat.
– For this type of facility, the technical inspection is carried out by the Belgrade Port Authority, which also issues a floating permit. When carrying out the inspections, the communal inspectors of the Secretariat for Inspection Affairs order the removal of floating objects if they are placed in an area not foreseen for that type of object, if they do not have a valid floating permit, if they are damaged or damaged. owners / users are unknown persons. abandoned. A new plan for the installation of floating objects and a new decision is being drafted, says the secretariat.
That is, the Ministry of Construction, Traffic and Infrastructure, as stated by that department for Kurir, in early September sent the conditions for the development of the decision and plan to the Urban Institute of Belgrade.
This document, among other things, provides for the mutual minimum distance of floating objects, which will be determined for each object separately, and which may not be less than 15 m, to allow the fire brigade to approach in the event of fire. The facilities must be far from the source of drinking water: 120 m diameter wells and 50 m diameter tubular wells. It is forbidden to place floating objects 50 m upstream and downstream of all underwater installations. A maximum of 30 m of water space can be occupied on the banks of the Sava River, and in places seven meters upstream and downstream of the stairs, the installation of facilities is prohibited.
