The measure that is being applied now is that all citizens at the borders receive a warning that anyone who has a problem must immediately report to the local public health institute, Kon said.

This is true for our citizens, while foreigners must take a negative PCR test.

– We are already entering the 4th week, as we are warning in a part of the crisis headquarters about the epidemiological risk of the returnees of our citizens – Kon said.

I’m not expecting quarantine, but maybe that will change at headquarters on Monday.

As Dr. Conn added, it is clear that self-isolation is something that is helpful in terms of transmission of infection, but whether it is absolutely necessary depends on evaluation.

– Much of our people have returned from Montenegro. When asked, I do not expect, regardless of whether self-isolation is the most useful, I still do not expect this measure to be taken, but it is not impossible that the attitude in the crisis headquarters will be changed – said Kon.

According to the epidemiologist, our period of self-isolation is 14 days.

When it comes to schooling, Kon noted that due to the number of children attending classes, the education system is currently the highest epidemiological risk.

“Eight students in Belgrade were infected with the corona virus, five went to school and three did not,” Kon said.

As he said, the epidemiological situation in schools will be monitored more closely, but the general epidemiological situation will also be monitored, so depending on that, the decision will eventually be made to switch to online classes.
