The reason, according to CEO Vana Ifliganec, is the unfavorable business climate in North Macedonia.
“Until a favorable business climate is created in Macedonia, Adora Engineering will operate outside the country’s borders,” Ifliganec said in an interview with the Faktor portal, adding that one of the reasons for the relocation was the impossibility of building in the Centar municipality of Skopje, where there was a moratorium. on the construction of new facilities.
According to him, the macro development of North Macedonia is not possible without the micro or local development of the municipalities.
“There is nothing more important for the Macedonian economy than the work of the entrepreneurs, because that is how the budgets and the state are filled,” said Ifliganec, who hopes that the Centar municipality “will demonstrate maturity” and that all institutions, including municipal authorities, demand judicial decisions since the Constitutional Court recently lifted the moratorium.
Adora already has a company in Serbia (Adora Living Solutions) that is currently building an elite 7,000 square meter residential and commercial complex in Zlatibor. Within the complex there will be 100 fully equipped apartments, swimming pool, spa and wellness center, restaurant, gym, patios and other modern facilities for mountain holidays.
ifliganec says that the entire complex will operate in the form of a hotel, which will be managed by the new company Adora Hospitaliti Grupa, reports the Faktor portal.
He also revealed that the company is working on two projects in Greece, one of which is in Halkidiki. Villas with apartments for sale have already been built there, and this year it is launching a project on the island of Thasos where it will build two residential buildings, where part of the housing unit will be used for rent and part for sale.
