The public company “National Park Fruška gora” announced that today in Fruška gora, several visitors left the road due to slipping because it was snowing all day, urging drivers to be careful, adjust their speed and make sure to bring safety gear winter.
The snow that has been falling for almost the whole day has led many citizens to the nature of the National Park, according to the EP “Fruška gora National Park” adding that the children enjoyed the snow, while the adults mainly followed the recommendations on epidemiological measures and kept their distance.
“Unfortunately, the Fruška Gora National Park guard service had several interventions on the field during the day due to assistance to visitors who landed off-road due to slipping (unadjusted speeds, inadequate winter equipment),” he states the PE.
The National Park appealed to everyone heading in the direction of the Fruška Gora National Park (Irishki Venac) to be careful when driving, to adjust their speed and distance to the road conditions with the mandatory winter gear.
“The Novi Sad-Irig-Ruma and Novi Sad-Rakovac-Zmajevac-Vrdnik highway is passable, but caution is advised. Driving on the Grebenski (partisan) highway is not recommended due to poor passability,” the announcement added.
