In the past seven days, 149 Lajkovac residents tested positive for the corona virus. In this wave of epidemics, a total of 248 people fell ill, of which 44 were cured, four were hospitalized, 199 were in home isolation and one person died. In the previous two waves, a total of 99 people were infected.
It was announced that the implementation of the measures adopted by the Lajkovac Municipality Emergency Situations Headquarters will be intensified and all necessary assistance will be provided to the Health Center, in order to provide the best possible conditions for the admission of potentially infected citizens for medical exams.
Given that the number of new infected people, which has been in double digits, has been increasing in recent days, the Head of Emergency Situations drew conclusions about the operation of companies and public institutions in the conditions of the Corvid 19 pandemic does not compromise the work process. Cultural institutions and the Tourism Organization have been ordered to suspend all programs that involve the gathering of people.
