Dragiša J. (76) from Mislođin, near Obrenovac, suffered burns to 80 percent of his body from bursting his cauldron while roasting brandy.
The unfortunate man died this Thursday at the Belgrade Plastic Surgery Clinic, two days after the accident.
Namely, when the ambulance arrived at the address in Mislođin on Tuesday, it found Dragiša seriously injured with severe burns and then transported him to Belgrade to the Plastic Surgery Clinic.
The police went to the scene and found Dragisa’s son at his home.
– Dragisa’s son said that his father baked brandy for his own needs. At one point, according to him, the cauldron exploded and more water that was inside spilled on Dragiša and injured him, says a source familiar with the case.
The unfortunate man suffered life-threatening burns to 80 percent of his body when the cauldron was lit.
It is known that he died in hospital on Thursday after two days of fighting.
