At the time when Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić announced an uncompromising fight against the mafia, the authors of the “Među nama” program on Nova S (television owned by United Group, where the co-owner is businessman Dragan Šolak) equated Vučić, his brother Andrej and their son Danilo. with the heads of the mafia clans Darko Šarić and Luka Bojović, as well as Dragoslav Kosmajc, who was linked to drug trafficking, and Miroslav Mišković, accused of embezzlement with road companies and tax evasion!

Kurir’s interlocutors from the security structures estimate that the same atmosphere is being created in society as in 2003, which preceded the assassination of Prime Minister Zoran Djindjic, and that in this way Vučić is being attacked. They add that they hope that the president of Serbia is aware of the danger, so that the bloody scenario does not happen again! A few days ago, Vučić announced that the state was entering into a confrontation with the mafia and that it would destroy criminal groups and reveal in the hands of which political structures they were an instrument. Shortly afterwards (October 21), Nova S TV broadcast the program “Među nama”, in which the sociologist Jovo Bakić and the journalist Stevan Dojčinović were invited, while above them, in the studio, was a montage of paintings by Aleksandar , Andrej and Danilo. Vučić, along with Luka Bojović, Darko Šarić, Kosmajc and Mišković. In this way, the authors of the program severely criminalized the family of the President of Serbia, and the guests themselves stated that the family of the head of state was involved in the crime. Such serious accusations often come from the media, which is owned by the corporate lobby group headed by Dragan Šolak.
– He (Vučić) announced a fight against the mafia for two years, and in fact, he would have to imprison himself, his brother, Siniša Mali, Goran Vesić … – said Bakić and added:

– And imagine, those tycoons are not in the picture. They took 619 million euros, I am nothing and you are a mobster, and they are not? And they won the 619 million for private companies while they were in power. And nobody disputes it, only people should know – said Vučić.
The president of Serbia added that some think it is enough to tell lies and fabrications every day, and that part of the amount of lies that falls on his head will scare him.
– Their problem is that I don’t cut it by two percent, and I’m going to deny all the pressures and lies and everything that they bring out every day and talk about the results we achieved – said Vučić.
A fierce fight against gangsters will follow, he added, especially with those in state structures and with that part of economic crime where people believe they can take back the scandal of the 1990s and 2000s.
– That will not come back in Serbia, because it is our obligation to allow individuals, good people, to work honestly, pay taxes, but we have no right to allow someone to ask for a private tax or a scam. This fight will be very fierce, in cooperation with all the security forces, and we will witness that by the end of the year – said Vučić, in addition to insisting in the fight against organized crime that Serbia “was not like Colombia, with murders of the mafia, as it was 2002-2003 “.
Inadmissible comparison
Kurir’s interlocutors welcome Vučić’s announcement, but also warn of the reactions it provoked, reminiscent of the sinister atmosphere of 2003, which preceded the assassination of Prime Minister Đinđić.
Mile Novakovic, former head of the Directorate of Criminal Police, says in an interview with Kurir that he hopes the president and his family are aware of the danger.
– The state should form special teams that, in cooperation with similar police teams in the area, will monitor the gangster groups and clarify group by group, and reveal the connections of the crime with individuals in the state structures. I hope that the president and his family are aware of the dangers and that they are well protected so that, God forbid, 2003 does not happen again – said Novaković.
Sociologist Vladimir Vuletic also believes that the Serbian president should take the danger caused by such an atmosphere seriously.
– Organized crime is a combination of the mafia, corrupt politicians, corrupt sectors of the judiciary, the executive branch at all levels, and corrupt media. Therefore, it is not surprising that this announcement provoked such reactions that, unfortunately, create a similar atmosphere. I only hope that the president takes the danger seriously – said Vuletic.
Marko Nicovic, the former head of the Belgrade police, believes that no matter who thinks of the Serbian president, we should not put him in the same basket with criminals.
– Regardless of the political animosity, you should not be so extreme and put photos of the president of the state, no matter what you think of him, next to the criminals. Fighting crime should be the goal of both the office and the opposition. At the time when that opposition was in power, the Prime Minister, policemen were killed … – Nicovic said.

Prime Minister-designate Ana Brnabić also addressed this situation, saying that everything that is being done to the media moguls is “a classic, planned, well-designed and implemented daily dehumanization of Vučić and his family.” .

BORO BANJAC I support Vučić’s announcement
Boro Banjac, the former head of UBPOK, says that the state has instruments in its hands if it wants to confront organized crime, and then the people themselves will support it.
– The police, the prosecution and the judiciary must be in a joint action to that end. As a professional, I support Vučić’s announcement. It must provide the conditions for a true fight against crime, Banjac said.
