Crisis staff member Branislav Tiodorovic said this morning that another difficult weekend awaits us, adding that the curve related to the corona virus could be crushed next week.
– It always takes 10 to 12 days to see the results of the measurements. If we really implement the measures together and take ourselves and others seriously, we will create a situation before December 3-4 so that the curve can even out. In December, we will be able to make a small descent with possible low intensity peaks and it is possible to receive the New Year with a calmer situation – said Tiodorović in the morning program of Prva. The epidemiologist adds that crisis personnel warned in September that Serbia expected a dramatic development of the situation.
– Already in October we asked for stricter measures, closing rafts, restricting the work of cafes and restaurants, we saw terrible videos … We must have priorities, economy means production, but the priority is health, especially because only healthy people can work. The data is correct. This is a consequence of what was happening throughout Europe. Now we are focused because it arrived two weeks late. Now we are seeing the consequences of everything that was not taken seriously, said Tiodorović.
