Dr. Predrag Kon, a member of the Crisis Team for the fight against kovid-19, issued another rather dramatic warning today via social media, especially directed at the people of Belgrade.
“A special request for the citizens of Belgrade, during this and next week we will be at the maximum (peak) of the third wave. During this period, avoid all crowds and gatherings. Act as if a movement ban has been introduced. 19:00 to 5:00. If you still have to do it you leave the house … Always wear a protective mask, especially indoors, “Dr. Kon wrote on Facebook.
A few days ago, Dr. Kon announced that more than 2,000 new daily infections are expected in Serbia this week, and the fact that hospitals are filling up very quickly, both in Belgrade and in the interior of the country, is of particular concern.
It should be remembered that in recent days Serbia has broken all records in terms of the number of people infected with the corona virus, and between 50 and 85 percent of all cases are registered in Belgrade in 24 hours, which is why Mayor Dr. Zoran Radojicic announced yesterday a possible tightening of the measures.

Soon after, Dr. Kon issued another warning on Facebook.
“When they make fun of you for wearing a mask, say that you are making fun of crisis personnel in that way. It will spoil them … After all, say that the virus originated and was invented in crisis personnel because they they like to hear it … Say it’s crisis personnel to blame for everything in this pandemic … But don’t forget … always and always: Wear a mask! “
